In Christ Alone That I Make My Stand #2 Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

It is in Christ alone that I make my stand!
For all other ground is merely sinking sand!
And I am a new testament disciple of the Son
of God who is also the Son of Man! It is to Jesus
Christ that I pledge my sacred honor and my loyalty!

It is in Christ alone that I make my stand!
There by the redemptive power of Christ I am!
He shed His precious blood on Calvary's Cross!
In order to redeem my soul that was fore-ever lost!
Jesus Christ paid His ultimate cost to rescue me!

It is in Christ alone that I make my stand!
Poor habitual sinner that I am my sins
were covered with His crimson blood And
His crimson flood! His precious blood saved
my soul from everlasting death and disgrace!

It is in Christ alone that I make my stand!
Henceforth I pledge to the Son of Man:
My life, my fortune and my scared honor!
For He took me to His banqueting table!
His banner over me is His love sweet love!
