Long and longingly
she looked over her shoulder at me
Breathe….. just breathe…..

Give me a second, so that I may
Memorize this moment in time today
Then gather my thoughts before I say
Your beauty has taken my breath away
I have never before seen in this life
A radiance cut through a crowd like a knife
This piercing image locked into these eyes
Set in motion my minds devise
I catch you with your smile, demur
With my smile, I concur
Through the crowd, my plan commences
Finding gates through human fences
I must get to you and know your name
Win your heart, ignite your flame
Set in motion your minds devise
Break the exterior of your guise
Straight to your core swift as a dart
Reveal the love deep in your heart
Fan the flame into a fire
Melt your soul with my desire
Kiss your lips, tingle your spine
Taste your flesh sweet as wine
Whisper love eternal in your ear
Then yell above the crowd for all to hear
