In A Hurtful Way Poem by Francis Duggan

In A Hurtful Way

In a hurtful way on the feelings of others they intrude
Some people only know how to be rude
They do cause offence when cruel things they do say
Words can be hurtful when used in such a way
Such people carry a deep mental scar
And they cannot help the way that they are
Due to their lack of compassion and lack of common sense
They seem to find pleasure in causing offence
From life we receive the karma we are due
And judge not and thou shalt not be judged as ever sounds true
For the disrespecting of others respect for yourself you won't win
As demonization is far more than a minor sin
And sad to think those who find pleasure in putting others down
Are not rare in village or city or town.
