Impossible Poem by Emma Hawthorn

Impossible

Nothing is impossible
The truths not black and white
Impossible is easy
There’s more than wrong and right
Nothing is impossible

If you have been beaten
Do something that’s never been done

Sit on the horizon
Teach the blind to see the sun
Share secrets with strangers
Outrun a bullet from a gun

If you think you have failed
Be someone that no one else is

Run with the disabled
Build a bridge over the sea
Spread your wings and learn to fly
Solve a puzzle with a missing piece

You may think I’m a failure
But there are things you can’t do
I can love
I can fix a heart
I can fly with a dove
And change the past
I can talk to the deaf
And walk on the skies above

Talk in a language you don’t speak
Do something impossible

Do something impossible
