Immortal Poem by Kayla Barker

Immortal

Rating: 5.0

Standing in a dark graveyard,
She watches the graves,
Of friends, family, lovers.
They have all take their last breaths,
She will never take another.

She weeps,
Knowings that she will never again see the light of the sun,
The warm touch of a loved one.

She must steal the innocents of the blind,
Those that wouldn't understand,
Knowing nothing of her kind.

She doesn't want to.
But there is always that craving,
Deep inside.
Its the only way she can survive.
