I'm Joker Poem by Ebubechi Ireke

I'm Joker

Rating: 5.0

Who lives in the dark, without getting dark?
Who stays up all night, to torment the Knight?
Who says the truth, in a way so doom?

While contemplating the answer,
Here's my introduction
In the time of deep darkness,
When the night seems but young
I arise to tell you your truth
Though the truth isn't what you want

Reality isn't palatable,
That's why you build castle in the air.
And guess my favorite part of the drama
When I scatter it(hahaha)

Guess you didn't see it coming,
That's why the thrill gets cunning.
Cos why you hide in your palace so high,
I come standing by your window,
To hear your pleasure music,
Your screams(hahaha)

And of course,
As the villain
I have an opponent,
Here comes the hero,
My one true love,
Giving you ideas to grow your castle,
Of justice which of course doesn't exist.

I must now return to the dark,
And watch the realm of men
Praising their supposed hero.

And of course,
When men sleep,
I shall arise,
To tell you the truth
With tears and pain shall you accept my truth
