Illusion Poem by venessa ambrose

Illusion

In that illusion,
The celestial choirs sonorously chanted,
Giving symphony to the heavenly dancers,
The eager onlookers smile at such display of glamorous nuisancy,
Merriment at its peak,
When the two lovers exchanged their nuptial cord,
In the altar of matrimony,
A thunderous quake bellowed,
The veil of glorious union now born
Triumphantly the trumpet sings,
Rewarding music to the listening ear,
In all the bliss
I hear sounds from another age,
Sounds I recall to be the mother hen's,
'Wake up its past ten'.
