Illumination Poem by constance donovan

Illumination

where once the dark had hope for light
these mysteries caused by unseen plight
forever dim, sights seem askew
long lost visions spring anew

hopeful, careful, patient, youth
the light grows brighter each day new
ablaze upon the morning dew
shine bright light your work is due
