*illuminating Star* Poem by Angelo H.G.

*illuminating Star*

Rating: 2.7

</>As an illuminating star over comes petty shadows
so do I conquer worthless sloppy thoughts that rest at the pits of failure
The dogs are barking but I still listen only to my heart
Their doubtful mouths mean no more to me than
rotten banana peels resting at the feet of monkeys
Sharp corners I bump into at the cornerstones of glory are but wounds
I lick to health with a saliva that carries wisdom and determination
I squeeze the throats of snakes that carry venomous words of lies
A light switch has been turned on in the dawn of a fast paced world
where all the signs read only what their writers have written from their own illusions,
I only care to read the the signs of truth the signs of a God
that is not completely understood but whom is felt
You order me to clap my lights out but your no where near God
so I illuminate with a fierce ray that feels like the charisma of love and excellence
