Ignorance; The Loss Is Yours Poem by Faustina Marie

Ignorance; The Loss Is Yours

My hint was more than that,
My words were less vague than
Had my thoughts spilled out before you

The only words you registered
Where ones you misinterpreted
'I miss you'

I did not mean that I wanted you
Standing beside me.
I meant that I missed the person you were before
The man you became when
I agreed to be yours

I can't find him now,
I will wait, should he reawaken,
But my patience is short-
It runs hot and fast

Remind why I thought
I was in love
Or watch me walk away
