If you ask me to forget you...
Can you ask the sun not to shine?
Can you ask the waterfall not to?
Can't you see my heart's not mine?
If you ask me to forget you...
Songs would never make me cry;
Kisses would never be so true;
Can't you see my heart would lie?
If you ask me to forget you...
Swallows wouldn't fly so high;
The brown lovebird would be blue;
Can't you see my heart would die?
