If you only knew
How often
I sat here wishing I were with you
asking myself
'Why'd he leave me? '
I've spent my lonliest days & nights here
& I just imagine being held by you,
you telling me that you love me

In my mind
It's the best thing I've ever felt
It's true love
& I wonder if
In reality
will anyone ever love me like that
or will anyone ever care for me
Suddenly
I'm drowning my pillow in tears
That leave marks on my satin sheets
& the thoughts of lonliness are true
As I relaize that no one is home
