If Stars Could Speak Poem by william mae

If Stars Could Speak

Rating: 4.5

If stars could speak they would say this,
That you out shine them all.
The moon would humbly bow to you,
The rivers all would pause.
The mountains would all leap for joy,
The wind would just stand still.
They can’t react, but if they could,
They’d show you how they feel.
The birds would hush their singing,
The sun would only shine
on you so all the world would know,
It is for you it pines.

If stars could speak, they would declare,
For everyone to hear,
That you shine through the stormy nights,
As if the night were clear.
