If I Poem by Paul Wilson

If I

If I had an airgun
I would shoot the air for fun
For fun, for fun, for fun
I would shoot the air for fun!

I'd go to the funfair
And I'd shoot the air for fun;
The air, the air, the air,
I would start to shoot the air!

And when the air was dead
I would shoot the stars instead;
The stars, the stars, the stars,
I would shoot the stars instead.

And when I'd shot the stars
I would start to shoot the cars;
I'd shoot them one by one,
I would shoot them all for fun....
