If Given A Chance Poem by suja nair

As I turn the pages of my Life
I find every day was something new
The past was something unforgettable..
The past is unchangeable......


As I go through my thoughts,
I always feel, If given a chance...
I would have lived my Life better,
I would have done many more things.....


May be, I would even have been a better soul,
But then.....Gone are those days,
Those carefree days of joy and happiness....
Those wonderful days of child hood.....


The beautiful years of teenage....
Those beautiful dreamy days....
Life was like a bed of rose,
Carefree and challenging.....


If given a chance, I would like to go back,
To all those days of my life....
To live every second of those days...
Just to Live and Live and Live.....


As I go back in my thoughts.....
I feel I would have done something more,
I would really have been a different person...
Not that I am bad, and Unhappy now..
Still if given a chance...............
