Ice Cold Poem by udoh etido

Ice Cold

Chamber of death;
stole the hibiscus away;
A betrothal sudden;
the flower's folly.

Chamber of death;
the ground knows no pain;
A love in the rain;
my absence so profane.

Fountains black;
castles high;
Decisions so strange;
my love holds no sway.

Pretty she is;
locks of bliss;
An eternal conquest;
a late respect.

Succumb to sorrow's fang;
no light on my path;
She grievously lay;
she is betrothed to the insane.

Maidens assemble;
maidens resemble;
Hasten my arrival;
the chamber hides the flower.

She lays tame;
her coffin is sane;
Hasten my arrival;
revive her loins.

A kiss so strange;
sheds her eye's scales.

A kiss so strange;
the chamber takes my life away.
