Hope lies in tommorrow;
cannot wait to see her glow;
I am plagued by peril;
right from january;

I toil, i weep;
my grin is not real;
I see her from afar;
never been there with her;

How can i be cheerful;
they say i am fearful;
no food on the table;
cries from the cradle; she is but young;
nature's first born;
Hope lies in tommorrow;

I once thought of a better life;
my obsession day and night;
Hope lies in tommorrow;
cannot wait to see her glow.

My past hangs round about me;
my contribution is little;
There lies one in the past;
whose eyes always lit my path;
How can i forget her;
heresy is light.

Hope calls;
hope runs;
she surrounds;
Hope lies in tommorrow;
