Iam Divorcing You Poem by Mohamed Nyange

Iam Divorcing You

Dear Alcohol
We had been in love though i doubt if it was true
Cause you didn't want me to have anything but spend on you
You never hesitated to embarrass me
Sometimes i felt like you never cared about me

You had a bad breath
But i loved french kissing you in your green outfit
You had a foul test
But i found you more delicious than the food i ate

My dad knew about you
My mum was clueless
I don't wanna abandon you
But i found new love soberness

Love the way this poem is written! Makes one wonder why anyone would even want to drink after your vivid descriptions! However I know from experience how powerful addiction can be. And I am so glad you also have found a new and better way of life! Kudos!
