I Wish I Could Be Your Ocean Poem by Lisa Ann Smallwood

I Wish I Could Be Your Ocean

Lying still on a warm with sandy beach
The sounds of the waves crashing against the shore
The Sun beating down like a warm blanket upon your body
As the tides shift you feel the soft warm frothy foam in the waves
With each forward movement it slowly works it's way over your body
You feel a soft mist upon your face and taste the salty sweetness on your lips
With every passing moment you feel the warmth rising
Slowly lifting your body just slightly floating on the sand
With every ebb and flow feel her pulling
taking you slowly out into the depths of her enchanted blue green water
Weightless floating your body slowly sinks
Engulfed by the caress of her on every inch of you.
I wish I could be your Ocean
