I Will Be Your Shield

Life is hard
When love is lost
But my love for you
will never fade.
No matter how far away
Or close I am
I will never love you any less
Then I do right now.
When you're out of hope
And feeling alone,
Think of me
I'm just a heart beat away.
Forget the cruelty
People throw upon you
I will be your shield
To protect you from the harms of others.
