I Will Be Back Soon Poem by Ynon Hermon

Look outside here,
I can see the light between the clouds

Look out through the window
I can tell the grey is weaker now
and a little light shines through

The sun has touched the dirt
and the trees are showing green

The snow outside is melting
soon it will flow down the hills
and wash the night away

They say the storm is over
and it won't be back so soon

Let the fire die now
we sat by it for too long
the sun will keep you warm

Wear your brightest colors
go outside and wait

Enjoy what time you have
until the clouds creep back again
and I will be back soon.
