I will kiss your lips
and touch your neck,
lay you back
against my bed.
Kiss your cheeks,
taste your skin,
gaze through your eyes
to see within.
I will take your hands
put them in mine,
ask if you would
like to stop time,
run my fingers
through your firey hair
speak of my love for you
with my intense stare.
I will send my love
when our lips meet
hold you close,
as you fall asleep,
whisper softly
into your ear
that when you wake
I'll be right here.
