I was looking for something
Not, quite sure what
I found a picture of Jesus
Then I knew on the spot

He would be my saviour
He would be my friend
Someone to talk to
He would be there
With me at the end

I never needed him before
When I was young and stronger
But, as I'm getting on in life
I think, I need something more
That picture of Jesus has
Took me by surprise
There was a look of love
Right there in his eyes
I was looking for something
