I Want A World Poem by Ali Rahimi

I Want A World

Rating: 4.3

I want a world where,
The deaf can hear,
The blind can see,
The lame can walk,
The dumb can talk,
The prisoners can breathe,
The dead can rise,
The police can smile,
The women can choose,
The children can learn safe,
The teachers can share,
The knowledge can rein,
The borders can vanish,
The war can end,
The hungry can eat,
The lovers can meet,
The heart can freely bleed,
The hug can mean,
The rope can forgive,
I want a world…
Tomorrow will not be the same as today,
Though God will listen with the same ears.

This poem's been beautifully composed. The rhyme and rhythm, the choosing of the worlds... I believe this would make an inspiring lyrics to a song well written...Like those of the works of the late Michael Jackson.

That is a world of peace, love, unity and joy! Without hatred and war. Nice piece of work.
