I've made many mistakes in my life
I've marked each one with a knife
I may not be that smart
I may not see whats in my own heart
Im only young today
Im growing older they say
I've loved a few
I've lost many too
I may not feel anything anymore
I may not see whats waiting outside the door
I dont want to know
I dont intend to go
I've made many mistakes in my life
I've always acted on mere whim
I've marked my mistakes with the touch of a knife
but i'd do it all again
just to re-live those days with him
