I Am Legend Poem by Rachel BaByBeAr Anderson

I Am Legend

Have you ever lived in a world so blind
it couldnt see itself ripping out its own mind
I've seen many days and countless nights
watching endless brawls and fights
I had seen worlds rise and fall
and I was the one who had walked past them all
I never hold out my hand in aid
everyone else could tell you the same
I help none who ask my choosing
because without help there is no loosing
yes I am helpless and none to understand
the mild guesture when you hold out your hand
I walk alone these tides because I am to be known
as the man who's heart had been torn and blown
as the survivor who finds no shortcuts or ends
I am the man
I am legend
