I've Caught A Glimpse Poem by Gary James Smith

I've Caught A Glimpse

I've Caught A Glimpse

I've caught a glimpse of eternity
And O what a bliss it is
Sin had blinded me to it's worth
And my own unworthiness
But praise God for that glorious Light
That leads the wanderer home
And rescues him from his darkness night
To give him a so great Salvation

Christ was lifted up on that Cross
To draw all men unto Him
His righteousness was undeniable
Who took my place for sin
Though hardly recognized by men
To God... He was His.. Just Son
My sins...everyone of them...were placed upon Him
They were laid on that Crucified One

Will you not catch a glimpse of eternity
Look to the Lamb and live
His shed blood has sin cleansing power
That only Christ can give
There's the reality of His Resurrection
For the Sacrifice that He has made
Your eternity can be fully realized
Because Lord Jesus saves!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
