I've Been A Rhymer Poem by Francis Duggan

I've Been A Rhymer

I've been a rhymer for some time
Ever since my life's physical prime
For many years a rhyming buff
I have written reams and reams of stuff
One might say without any success
Still rhyming brings me lots of happiness
An addictive rhymer nothing more
That's something I have often said before
I do not pen rhymes for wealth or fame
Or to bring honour to my name
Years ago I daydreamed of literary renown
When working in the fields by Millstreet Town
And though from life we do receive our due
For Many daydreams never come true

The end seems to be missing, or I'm dense.
