I Thought You Are For Me Poem by Gugu Ben Mthimunye

I Thought You Are For Me

I chose you,
For I thought you are form me,
I thought you will form me,
Like foam, your love for me,
Was blown away by a storm,

I thought you will form in me,
A part, that will never be set apart,
But it broke me, seeing you depart
Leaving me with a deep heart,
For the pain of your departure,
Really drills my heart so deep,
And it tears,
That's why I weep,
With gallons of tears,

I hoped to have a ring on my hand,
With you before me,
But seeing you walking away,
Really deformed me,
Seeing you walking away,
To me was like a dream fading away,

They say some people are a type you can't comfirm,
But my mind is what I won't transform,
I still think you are for me
