I Think Alone In Dreams Poem by Julia Ann Holliday

I Think Alone In Dreams

Rating: 4.3

I think alone in dreams,
Quite hoplessly it seems,
That the world could live as one,
Beneath the glowing sun.
One world, one people, living free,
Secure, in one true destiny.
I look into the starry skies,
As heartfelt tears fall from my eyes,
When I think of all the hurt thats done
Beneath Gods' warm and glowing sun.
I yearn for something pure and sweet,
Some special food that I could eat,
A food to take the pain away,
And bring me to a bright new day.
Can wisdom be so hard to find?
A happiness, for all mankind,
Give me hope in fading light,
To see me through this tearful night,
As I think alone in dreams.
