I Still Love You Poem by Ashton Jackson

I Still Love You

Today, I realized I still love you, right when you wouldn't let me hug you.
You once were so close to my heart, I don't know what pulled us apart.
I still love you after the hell you put me through.
What can make you see, what can I do?
I don't want to still love you, you don't love me the same.
I've stuck by your side, I've played your game.
Why do I still love you when you give me all this pain?
I still love you, and it drives me insane.
What has become of us, do I mean anything anymore?
I thought that it would make you happy if I walked out your door.
I would kill to have our old friendship, always your hand in mine.
I know that you love her, but it's not the same this time.
I still love you...
