I Sing Freedom Poem by Vyktor Ekott

I Sing Freedom

Rating: 5.0

I will sing to the Lord a new song
It doesn’t matter if the verse is short or long
I don’t care if my notes are right or wrong
And it doesn’t matter the church or choir I belong.

I will shout to the Lord with all my heart
I don’t need to calculate before I start
My solfa notes may be sharp or flat
I will sing my songs with a glorious dart.

With my praise, I’ll pull down the devil’s kingdom
With a joyful heart, I’ll be rewarded with wisdom
I don’t need to sing for religious stardom
But to sing to Jehovah, ‘cos I sing freedom.
