I See You In Every Thing Poem by Roman Nikolaev

I See You In Every Thing

I see you in every thing;
In an open bottle of wine,
That has spoilt the life of a man,
In a tree with its descending branches
which try to touch the mother-earth
and thus love it as a man loves his mother,
In a dimple of a puddle, that shines reflecting the sun
In a red-blue book of tales, that was left open on its first page
In a yellow cactus which struggles for growing up but not able to do it fast

And I know
You are thinking of me all the time;
You think – therefore I am.
