I See Only You Poem by B.M Lewis

I See Only You

How many times do I have to cry before I smile?
How many times do I have to stumble before I fall?
How many times am I gonna rely on you?
You are the best part of me.

You looked inside and found my flaws.
Deeper than that, you saw my fears.
Calling it perfection, you didn’t try to change me.
You are the best part of me.

And who’s going to catch me when I fall down?
And who’ll wipe my tears when I cry?
Who will stand beside me
For better or for worse?
No matter what,
I see only you.

We haven’t known each other for a while,
But still you know what makes me smile.
And I remember how to breathe.
And you don’t know what you do to me.

I am loving the way this feels.
The happiness, the love, the trust in you
The power and the care in your eyes
You are the best part of me.

Who is going to hear me when I scream out?
Who can I follow when I am lost?
Who will stand beside me
For better or for worse?
No matter what,
I see only you.
