I See Amazing Sights Poem by Chris Schleier, Jr.

I See Amazing Sights

I see amazing sights
as I'm blinded by the lights.

Lights of color
Lights of bright

Shining clearly
Day and night.

'Who am I? '
my heart screams

as it sees amazing things
through the veil of blinding light

Shining clearly
Day and night.

Friends of young.
Foes of old.

Days of hot.
Nights of cold.

Family...
It is there.

Loving,
living,
everywhere

There it stays
and remains.

Through the winds.
Through the rains.

Even through the blinding light

Shining clearly
Day and night.
