I Opened My Eyes Only One Time; Everything Was Red

  sweet dreams
then you open your eyes
watching the snowflakes
fall out of the sky

drifting and fading
sparkling in your grip
and like a childhood dream
you gently let it slip

it melts through your fingers
not as tight as they seem
left with nothing but a smile
sweet dreams
