I Need To Find A Purpose. Poem by Tyler Cobb

I need to find a purpose, but what could it be.
It seems as though there is no future for me.
There's nothing I can do
To make a true difference in this world.
So I'm left just sitting everyday since my life was hurled.
And whipped around by this twister as it spun and whirled!
Once it came to a stop. It decided to drop drop me on my head. And left me there for dead. But the lord said no!
It wasn't my time to go.
So I'm left here trying to find.
What is my next step. I can't be this far behind.
I've tried and tried.
But every move is denied.
What can I do.
To help me not be blue!
I need to find my smile.
It's been lost for quite awhile!
But how to get it back.
Is the info I lack.
My life used to be so great.
But this can't be my fate!
I must continue to progress,
And help clean up this mess,
That I created not only for me,
But also my family While I've pulled them into this to.
Which I never meant to do,
But they've been their right beside me,
This whole time in order to help me,
Through all of my therapy so I could see,
A nice and happy day,
So to them all I can say. Is thanks for showing me,
How it is love is meant to be
When a loved one falls behind.
And aren't able to find,
Or make their way back again,
You're still there to provide a friend.
Someone to guide there way,
Back to a happy day!
And so I thank the lord above
For giving me their love!
