Although I knew,
From the very start.
This moment would come
To break my heart.
Oh dear, know that
Parting is never that easy.
Just the thought of
Not seeing you makes me crazy.
Indeed the further you are to my eye
The closer you get to me.
So whenever I’m not there
Just close your eyes and you’ll see.
That I’m right next to you
And I’ll feel the same way.
Yet it seems tears
Add up to the cost I must pay.
And when we see each other,
I know you’ll say “I missed you”
What’s then left for me to say?
“I missed you too”…
