I think about you,
day and night.
Your hug, your kiss,
Your smile so bright.

Your eyes that shine,
look through me.
But the pain i hide,
you'll never see.

I miss your arms,
that held me tightly
and the feeling
when you kissed me lightly.

i miss hearing you
say i love you
and you knowing
that i love you too

if you would give us
another shot
i promise you
i'll give a lot.

I promise to love you
and always to care
I promise to hold you
and always be there.

i promise i'll change
i promise i'll try.
to stop all the fighting
and never let you cry.

the reason i say this
most people knew
these promises i'll keep
because i love you
