I May Die But My Hope Lives Poem by Nishi Kumari

I May Die But My Hope Lives

Rating: 5.0

Holding the umbrella beneath the clear sky
Stands a middle aged man alone there at the
street
People come and mock at him and leave
Is he mad to stand there barefoot?
They call him insane but he is hopeful
More than you can ever be
That there will be rain today for sure
Says his impeccable faith which gives him
strength to stay

The two edges of the river goes on and on
People say they never meet
Like the two lovers who stay forever but
never together
But they will unite one day for sure
Says the hope which will pull them in
one pit
And then the incomplete story will be told

Failure brings disappointment and disappointment
brings sorrow and pain
But it brings with itself the hope of a better
scope
Do you have the eyes to see?
Hope tells the tale of success
It is not an easy short to play
But life give chances and hope
teaches to take chances

Rich are not those who have the coins to pay
But those who have a hopeful heart
To have the belief that they can do
They have the real gold
Rest is all just for name
Like mist in the sky and the unmoldable clay
