I'M Not The Person I Use To Be Poem by Jamie Haddock

I'M Not The Person I Use To Be

I've wasted many days and nights
Searching for that all time high
Trying to get that feeling right
It didn't matter at that time
Living life was more than I could bare
So thats why I comitted my crime.
Being locked up has showed me
The things I've done were wrong
Its opened my eyes and made me see
I've been wasting my life all along.
Please believe me when I say
I am a different person now.
When I'm free I'm going to live each day
The best way I know how
Nothing like it was lived before
Because now I'm totally free
I dont want that life any more
For I'm not the person I use to be.
