I'm Not Okay Poem by Lucia Siwela

I'm Not Okay

Rating: 5.0

I'm addicted to the feel of nothingness
Walking on a busy path yet no interaction whatsoever
People going on with their days
It's fascinating how we so ghosted up while presenting a fulfilled life
If only we'd ask a stranger for a minute of their time, offload the heavy burdens that the world wouldn't care to listen to
Breath and get relief from our prisons of striving to present a perfect life
We so ghosted up we'd rather die instead of letting ourselves be heard.
I walk out everyday in a hope to meet a stranger and tell em I'm not okay.
I need to breath

Powerful and informational. An insightful verse elegantly penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing Luu.
