I've fallen in love,
with a certain someone,
Hes my best friend,
yet he doesn't know.

I know he isn't ready,
I don't know if he could ever love me,
I'm just the friend, and I always will be.

People don't see the real me,
People just see what they want to see,
But no one can see that I'm falling,
and that its with my best friend.

I think of him with another,
And tears start to fill in my eyes,
I look at my hands, so silent,
Oh, doesn't he see I'm crying?

But I'm just his best friend,
About him, I know every little thing,
But unlike the other girls, I'm simply not as pretty,
I'm just the friend who's in love with him,
with my best friend.
