I'M Free The Way You Never Wanted Me To Be Poem by Charlie Savannah Watson

I'M Free The Way You Never Wanted Me To Be

A year goes by
And I'm still wondering why
You had to leave things broken and bent the way you did
Just packed up your bags and ran away like a scared little kid
If you ever get the nerve to come back, I'll just push you a way
Like you did me
It'll open your eyes and you'll finally see
What a faithless little girl like me went threw
I was incapable of doing things, all because of you
But you leaving gave me just the boost I needed to be free again
To see the world in color instead of black and white
I'm surprised I survived this fight
Crying myself to sleep every single night, and holding on to your memory oh so tight
But I finally let go, even though forever seemed so slow
I'm free….the way you never wanted me to be
Always making me suffer with the pain, of never letting go of you
But I've finally moved on, yea I'm finally let you go.
