I'm Deeply In Love With Vancouver Poem by Veronika Bitkina

I'm Deeply In Love With Vancouver

I'm deeply in love with Vancouver,
with city itself and all means,
its streets with mix of buildings,
with Tiffany's blue whole theme,

with trees in between architecture
and nature field: Stanley park,
SeaWall which is perfect for sure
for runs in the morning in dark

to meet sunrise at the beach,
to swimm some salt water and play
keys on the street to reach
mid of the beautiful day

to eat at the nice cafe
to do bunch of stuff on your own
noticing people around,
friends, or some people unknown

to go to a symphony, gallery, concert,
to watch mordern art at the tiniest place
and go to a movie, or speak with a person
just ramdom, just happened to be in a space,

to listen some music, to dance at the club,
to be in a head of Skytrain, or in pub,
to eat the best sushi and go to a gym
at lunch time of course, then spend time in the vim..

I'm deeply in love with Vancouver, the city
with mountains, water and nature around,
which feels like an island, fantastically pretty
with bridges and different levels of ground

I'm deeply in love with Vancouver. The City.
It's new and it's modern. It's retro and old.
It feels like a home: it's so warm and so pretty.

There is only one in the world.
