I'm Bleeding Words (Sonnet) Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

I'm Bleeding Words (Sonnet)

Rating: 5.0

I'm bleeding words—diabolical pain!
Monsters of emotions invade my chest: —
Have my heart, in pulse is useless again!
Though it keeps surviving, strives with unrest: —
Come with me in agony! —forget joy:
Endless journey through labyrinths of thoughts,
Illusions—pleasure and murder conjoined;
Catch myself from falling, hold my heart's shots: —
Torture my bleeding wounds—make me react!
Tease me in blood—taste the metal in it!
Feed me with pain till I feel life's impact
Rekindling from ash—Soul, life to emit: —
Take my heart as a trophy, Ego mad! —
Failing to succeed—bitter is your blood!

'I'm bleeding words' is a wonderful way to bleed writing in scarlet ink, nice phrase for poets loving poetic effects
