To my beloved wife

Once again, January has arrived
My soul is filled with heartfelt cries.
First, I offer my thankful cries to almighty god
Then to you, my dearest wife, for loving me your whole life
I continued my thanks for forty seven years of my life
And more today, as our anniversary time has arrived.
Thank you for our life long conjugal love.
You feed and dress me and give me your body and mind.
So beautiful are your slim waist and curving lines,
And always, you scented my coffee with love, milk and ice.
As long as four seasons rotate through the years
Your love shines on me like the sun and round moon light.
Our advanced years may come to a sudden stop any time,
I love you so much and I thank you day and night.

ANH YÊU EM LẮM, CÁM ƠN ĐÊM NGÀY
Yêu tặ̣ng vợ̣ tôi

Tháng giêng lại tới đây rồi
Lòng anh đầy ắp những lời cám ơn.
Cám ơn Thiên Chúa trên trời
Cám ơn em đã một đời yêu anh.
Cám ơn, bốn bảy năm dài
Hôm nay, lần nữa, mừng ngày tân hôn.
Cám ơn chăn gối vợ chồng
Cơm ăn áo mặc, xác hồn em cho
Thân em duyên dáng, eo thon
Cà phê sữa đá thơm ngon tình nồng.
Bốn mùa: xuân, hạ, thu, đông
Tình em như nắng, trăng tròn, em soi.
Tuổi cao, gần đất xa trời
Anh yêu em lắm, cám ơn đêm ngày.
