'I Love You Lola' Poem by Asset Balin

'I Love You Lola'

'You could have seen him, ma
You could have seen him
Lift his little arms, asking -
For a clasp that we do, adore

You could have seen him
Straddling, with hurriedness
With a full bloom kayak
Beneath his impecunious nose

You could have seen
The mirth we spilled
Whenever the giggling grows
(He has to ride his shoes.)

You could have seen him
Gliding up and down, the air
(Who'd ever wonder, we bear
The hostility, around that lair!)

You could have seen him
Rest his head just beside my neck-
Embracing the figure which he'll be
In the near unstable future.

You could have seen him, Ma
You could have seen him!
the same sweet face, and curls
You took in your arms before

You could have seen him ma
You could have seen him.'
