I Love You Poem by Claire Abbott

I Love You

Rating: 4.7

My hand slips into yours,
I gaze up at your face and smile.
See the magic in your eyes.

I feel so safe with you,
No-one can hurt me anymore.
The love is plain for all to see.

We tell stories and play games,
Well known from childhood,
Now relived in my adulthood.

I nearly lost you,
But you fought with all your might,
To stay with me.

You are my friend, my support,
You are the one I go to in crisis,
Daddy I love you.
