I Love You Poem by louise macbeth

I Love You

I caught the glimmer of your eye and it made me want to just stop and lye here,
It reminded me of the stars that used to pass us by here last year.
Because everything you say just makes me want you to say more,
And the more of you I see and hear the more of you that I adore.

If I took one last breathe I'd want you to feel it, on your neck,
And if I said one last word I'd want you to hear it, and remember it.
Everything you say and do sticks to my mind like superglue,

And everything that you are is everything that I love, 'cause I love you.
